What is Supply and Demand in Trading?

Supply = Jahan sellers active hote hain → Price down hota hai

Demand = Jahan buyers active hote hain → Price up hota hai

Jab price kisi specific area se baar-baar reverse hota hai, it means wahan institutional orders (FIIs, big banks, smart money) stacked hote hain.

Isliye supply-demand trading ka main focus hota hai:

“Identify zones where big players enter the market.”

---

How Supply & Demand Zones Form?

1. Demand Zone Formation

Demand zone tab banta hai jab:

Price ek area tak girti hai

Suddenly strong green candle aati hai

Market quickly upwards move karta hai

This area = Demand Zone

Yahaan buyers aggressive hote hain.

---

2. Supply Zone Formation

Supply zone tab banta hai jab:

Price ek area tak upar jata hai

Suddenly red candle banti hai

Market sharply fall hota hai

This area = Supply Zone

Yahaan sellers aggressive hote hain.

---

Types of Supply & Demand Zones

✔ 1. Rally–Base–Rally (RBR)

Uptrend continuation demand zone.

✔ 2. Drop–Base–Drop (DBD)

Downtrend continuation supply zone.

✔ 3. Rally–Base–Drop (RBD)

✔ 4. Drop–Base–Rally (DBR)

How to Trade Supply & Demand Zones?

Step 1: Mark Fresh & Strong Zones

Strong zones have:

Sharp move after zone (big candles)

Less time spent in base

Clean departure (no wicks)

Step 2: Wait for Price to Return

Price jab dobara zone ko retest kare, tab trade setup banta hai.

Step 3: Take Entry

Demand Zone Buy Entry:

Price touches demand zone → bullish candle → buy above high

Supply Zone Sell Entry:

Price touches supply zone → bearish candle → sell below low

---

Stop-Loss Placement

Always outside the zone.

Buy trade: Zone ke neeche

Sell trade: Zone ke upar

This protects you from wick spikes & stop-loss hunting.

---

Target (Take Profit)

Best method:

Risk-Reward: 1:2 or 1:3

Ya

Next Opposite Zone

Buy → next supply zone

Sell → next demand zone

---

Example: Demand Zone Buy Setup

1. Market sharply falls

2. Strong demand zone forms

3. Price retests zone

4. Bullish candle forms

5. Entry above candle

6. SL below zone

7. Target = next supply zone

Simple and effective.

---

Common Mistakes Beginners Make

❌ Sirf drawing zones without confirmation

❌ Weak zones ko trade karna

❌ News time trading

❌ Trend ke opposite trade

❌ SL zone ke andar lagana

---

Best Timeframe for Supply & Demand

Higher Timeframes → Strong zones

Daily, 4H, 1H

Entry Timeframe

5 Min / 15 Min

Multi-timeframe analysis gives best accuracy.

---

Conclusion

Supply and demand trading is one of the most reliable and clean price action methods, if used properly.

Beginners ke liye this is the best technique to:

Improve accuracy

Control emotions

Follow institutional footprints

Regular practice se aapka trading consistency definitely improve hogi.
